PLEASE READ BEFORE ASKING FOR MEMBERSHIP OR SUBMITTING DEVIATIONS TO THE CLUB. Also, if you have been a member for awhile, please review the rules if you haven't already.

Membership & General Rules
To become a member:
* You must devwatch the club (That includes receiving journals in your inbox.)
* You must note ~rebootclub and say that you want to be a member. Asking on the main page may be ignored; dA does not alert me when someone comments on the main page, though I will try to monitor it. Please title the note "Membership" or "Join" or something similar.
* Keep in mind devwatching does NOT automatically make you a member.
* Only members can submit work, vote in contests, etc.
After you become a member:
* DO NOT FAV OR COMMENT ON CLUB DEVIATIONS, PLEASE.
* We ask that you put a link to ~rebootclub in either your journal or your signature. Doesn’t need to be fancy.
* Please comment on people’s work, vote in contests, comment with your opinion when asked about club stuffs, and of course, submit art!
* Be courteous and considerate, especially when commenting on other’s work. Also, allcaps = bad.
* Members who do not act accordingly will be asked to leave and removed from the members list, and quite possibly publicly shamed, depending on the circumstances.

Submissions
* To make a submission:
1) Upload it to your own devaintART gallery.
2) Send a note to ~rebootclub containing a direct link to the piece. Please title the note “Submission” or something similar.
3) Please specify in the note what the title of the piece is, and any description you’d like to have (not required). You may copy and paste directly from the original description if you wish. If you do not indicate whether or not you want a description, none will be included in the uploaded deviation.
4) For examples how your deviation will look after uploaded to the club, please see any of the newer deviations in the club gallery.

Submission Guidelines:
* The submission must be ReBoot-related somehow. Fancharacters and self-insertion ARE allowed if there's also cannon ReBoot characters present. "Canon" characters includes all characters that make at least one appearance on the show.
* The submission must be already uploaded to your own deviantART gallery, not amother dA club or on another website.
* No submissions that would be rated above PG13 will be accepted. That means no extreme violence, swearing, nudity, graphic sex, or drug use. The admin has the right to refuse a submission that violates the aforementioned prohibitions (though she can be lenient). Please note ~rebootclub or ~boggart if you are unsure your submission will be accepted, or if you need some clarification.
* Any and all materials are welcome. It can be a drawing, a digital painting, a collage, sculpture, a costume, anything! However, I don't encourage submitting deviations that contain materials copyrighted by Mainframe Ent./Rainmaker, like screencaps or official images. Manips or captioned images may get removed by dA mods. Original artwork is much safer.
* Work in progress art may be submitted, but it will probably be uploaded to the Scraps, not the Gallery.
* Fanfiction is welcome as well. As with art, the fic must have been uploaded to your dA gallery prior to submitting it to the club. If the fic in your gallery does not include a title picture, I will make one for the club deviation. If the fic is a WIP, the chapter number/name must also be included.
* You can submit as many things as you want, but only about 3 will be uploaded to the club at a time (about 3 of yours per 10-15 of total club deviations).
* Guidelines may be amended for the duration of contests.

Commenting and +Favs
So why is there no comment option, and why are you being asked the fave the original work versus the club deviation? The intention is show the artist you enjoy their work! When a deviant comments on or faves a club deviation, the only person that is alerted is me, the admin. It's quite a bit of trouble for the artist to find out if someone is commenting their work in the club, especially if they have a lot of club deviations. It's really ALL to show your appreciation. Just make it easier on everyone and +fav/collect and comment on the originals. The artists appreciate it, trust me.

If you've dug extensively through the gallery, you may notice a few exceptions to the no comments/no faves rules. Those include pieces whose originals have been removed from the artists' galleries, deviations submitted some time ago with no source deviation, and about 20-25% of the gallery which I haven't updated yet. The last bit is to change, as I am currently working through the last of the old submissions.

Updating/Removing Old Submissions
For various reasons, a member might want their work removed from the gallery. If that is the case, you only need to contact me at ~rebootclub and ask your work(s) be removed from the gallery. Also, if you want your work updated (the link has moved, or the pictured changed), again, you only need to tell me.

However, if the dA admins remove a work from your own dA gallery that is also here at club, and the piece was taken down for valid reasons (like copyright infringement), please contact me immediately so I can remove the same work from the club.

Featured Deviations
* Every 10 non-contest deviations, the members of ~rebootclub will decide which deviation is their favorite, via anonymous voting, and that piece be selected as the featured deviation.
* For the time being, voting periods for featured deviations and favorite fics will be about 2 weeks, so please don’t put off voting.

Any and all guidelines, rules, etc., maybe be subject to change.

At this time, as Admin I will probably upload some of my own submissions, but will not be regarded as a participant in any contests.
